A veteran real estate professional, Karen has been licensed for over 23 years listing & selling residential and commercial real estate throughout the state of Florida.

Karen has closed over $250 million in Florida. Karen’s experience has involved listing and selling COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE, RESIDENTIAL HOMES & CONDOS, NEW CONSTRUCTION OF HOMES, CONDOS & TOWNHOMES, and LAND DEVELOPMENT.

The bulk of Karen’s real estate career was spent in Southeast Florida and she spent 2 years in Southwest Florida in Sarasota when she was VP Sales & Marketing for a Nicklaus owned community.

Karen has also been a consultant to many homeowners that needed assistance with distressed properties that could not be listed on the MLS. She maintains a database of direct buyers wishing to purchase “off-market” properties. She has an extensive background
working with Foreign Nationals that were buying and selling properties in Florida.

Karen approaches her real estate career with the advantage of her diverse background in business negotiations & solutions as well as effective marketing campaigns. Having held executive positions in private and public companies, she is known for being a top negotiator, a closer and an “out of the box” thinker.

Karen holds a bachelor’s degree in music from the University of North Carolina (her home state) and she is a member of the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce, Opera Orlando Ambassadors, Orlando Regional Realtors Association (ORRA), Florida Association of
Realtors (FAR) and National Association of Realtors (NAR).

She is a contributor to Opera Orlando, A volunteer & contributor to The Metropolitan Opera Laffont Competition for the Florida District and contributes yearly to the Hebron Colonies (NC) that help young people get help with alcohol and drug addictions.

Karen enjoys world travel (25 countries on 4 continents & counting), formerly the owner of 4 travel companies. Karen also enjoys cooking & entertaining close friends and family, the Fine Arts, including Opera, Ballet, Museums and Broadway shows.

Her favorite thing in life is spending time with her Orlando family including being “NANA” to her two young granddaughters
